Fantastic!! The house is an Victorian and happens to have many of the qualities I have always wanted in my 'dream' home. There are sidewalks on the main street and people walk with their families weather permitting. What's even more amazing than the charm and retoration on an old house that's come back to its former glory is that it's also near the many, many beaches along the vast coastline of Rhode Island. I hope to live out the rest of my days to follow. My Beautiful (new-to-me) home, (which is also as good as new), also happens to be situated with a lovely Southern exposure across the street from one of the best pastoral views I've seen in this state, yet only about 8 miles to the beaches, of which there are too many to count. There are also wildlife preserves, wineries, ferries to both the Cape and Long Island Sound. Plus NYC is only a 2 hour drive or train ride away as is Boston only 6o miles. The benefits are too numerous to count. Oh, did I mention that the towns of Westerly, Wakefield, Narragansett and Newport are all within a very short driving distance. Lots of great food, music,and nightlife nearby as well. The local people are warm and friendly and the crime rate is zero on the scale.
