A spacious south facing greenhouse provides most of the space heating plus a ground mounted photovoltaic solar array in the side yard produces the electricity needed to operate the home. Excess energy is sold back to Eversource as permitted by the Massachusetts "net metering" regulations. At a -0- cost for electricity, the house produces more electricity than it uses.
