Sitting on the dock, sipping your favorite beverage, watching sunrises and sunsets come and go. If you catch Egg Pond on an exceptionally good day you can also watch very large smallmouth and largemouth bass perform a water ballet for you as they rise for a yummy meal. The camp,decorated in a Buffalo Plaid motif, affords a great view of the pond, dock, boat lift and firepit via the fully enclosed living area on the lakeside. Recent improvements include a state of the art Eljen septic system, drilled well, new roof, interior ceilings, and all new plumbing. A retro red beverage fridge will accommodate all your favorite drinks, leaving your daily use fridge for those delicious steaks, burgers and hot dogs to grill on your PK Grill on the deck . Cozy up to the Vermont Castings wood stove that will keep those chilly spring and fall temperatures at bay. The beautiful Maine woods are at the very heart of this thoughtfully furnished and decorated camp on Egg Pond. We call the camp the Over Easy Lodge at Egg Pond, embracing our beautiful natural surroundings that almost force one to chill out. The pond itself is connected via navigable water to Caribou and Long ponds all featuring more than excellent bass fishing, our resident loons and plenty of bald eagles. The ponds are also stocked with trout annually. From a rough camp with outhouse and water out of the pond we have created a wonderful new environment that we call 'plug and play' Everything is here for you to come in with your clothes, toothbrush and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful Egg Pond. Dishes, cookware, bedding dining furniture, living room furniture, grill....all set for you to begin enjoying a little slice of paradise.
