In 2007, the entire third floor was converted into a closet/linen/living area, with shelving added for clothes and shoes.In 2008, the front porch rubber roofing was completely replaced to remove leaks. In 2011, the back porch rubber roofing AND wooden frame underneath was replaced with new material.In 2009, carpet was replaced with laminate wood flooring on the first and second floor. The original wood flooring lays underneath the laminate. In 2011, a back deck was added, and a new gas furnace for central heat was added. In 2013, a $30,000 upgrade was completed. In the basement, the water supply was replaced with new copper tubing. The basement shower was updated with new fixtures and the basement was painted with an oil-based paint. The basement walls were mortared on the outside and inside, the two exterior doors were replaced, a glass/screen storm door was added as well. The electric was updated, and increased for more power to the second and third floor. The bathtub was replaced with a modern shower, vanity sink was replaced. In the kitchen an additional pantry was added, and the countertops and sink were completely replaced. A ceiling fan was added to the dining room.
