Large unfurnished room in 3 bedroom house in the Allendale Neighborhood of Oakland with own private en suite full bathroom (connects to room from interior door in the room, like a master bedroom). All utilities (including wifi) included. Photos coming soon! Household: I'm a single mom of two boys (12 and 8) who are pretty boisterous. They are will me all the time, so the energy level around the house is pretty high :) Pets of all kinds are welcome. We have 2 guinea pigs, and all the roommates we've had over the years have had dogs and most recently dog/cat. Our last roommate is moving out to move in with his girlfriend. Me and the kids both enjoy living with other people, we are all social and enjoy interacting. Definitely not a straight up tenant situation, but of course our lives are busy/active but its nice to connect here and there while you're living under the same roof. I prefer just one person, but if you are a couple, I'm open to that, but rent would go up to $1600 for two people. We are super liberal, I'm born and raised in SF, and much prefer to live someone like minded. tons of yard space, front and back, and wraps around the house. Large dog door for in/out access for dogs (or cats if they can push their way through it). Can't think of what else, if you wanted to interview our former roommate who is moving out to move in with his girlfriend I'm sure he'd be willing to do that if you want to get the real perspective from someone who just lived here, he was here for a little over a year I think. No lease necessary but if you want one I can accommodate that. No cigarette smoking in house (you can smoke in yard though)/ 420 friendly. Rent: $1350/mo. (need first and last for move in, plus a $500 deposit). Parking is street only, no driveway unfortunately. its pretty easy to park, always find a spot on the block, unless you are coming home late at night, then street can get filled up, but then likely you can park at most 2 blocks away or less Neighborhood is basically working class, many neighbors know each other, look out for each other, but it is still Oakland below MacArthur (though maybe above MacArthur is the same lol, I don't know) Available December 1 or earlier if needed. Current roommate moves out 11/15 and I'll start getting the room ready after that.
