We think of our home as a secluded country cottage. We love the vaulted ceiling and skylights in the living room, as well as the double French doors there and in the master bedroom. The eating nook has windows on 3 sides, looking out over the lush, peaceful front garden. The many windows throughout the house give us views of trees and gardens on every side. The spacious walk-out basement has 5-ft. tall windows on the south, west and north. They look out over the back garden and into the woods. We took the wall down between 2 small bedrooms on the main floor to make one larger one. The house could be made into a 4 bedroom again simply by re-building the wall between them.
