This home was originally built by Orange Booth between 1830-1834. My family the Johnsons purchased it around May or June 1913. Was originally part of the underground railroad. There used to be a secret crawl space under the kitchen where runaways would hide if someone came knocking, but since it's been completely remodeled, I'm unsure if its still there. Was oringinally also a stop on the Ithaca-Owego Turnpike. My family owned this home and the farm across the road at 404 Ithaca rd and this was the Johnson homestead. Had 4 bedrooms, spiral staircase, large fireplaces and beautiful wood work.
