Welcome to The Emerald House. I am looking for one roommate to share this spacious home that's walkable to parks, coffee shops, carts/restaurants and grocery stores. The house has 3 bedrooms, for rent are the two rooms on the main floor, one a fully furnished 10x12 bedroom with a 3.5x5 walk-in closet. The other, a 10x10 bonus room off the kitchen, which can be your office, occasional treatment room, yoga/meditation room, etc. Not for full time working from home. Month to month lease. $1195/mo plus utilities, which avg $150/mo. The shared kitchen and bathroom are on the main floor, laundry is in the basement. My room is the second floor. My cat, Houdini, and I have lived here for over 10 years. Open to one more cat. General house vibes: peaceful sanctuary, shoes off home, no loud music, smoking/vaping in/out. Alcohol consumption at a social minimum. Common spaces will be cleaned on a rotating schedule and kept tidy in between. I am open to cooking meals together as the opportunity presents, otherwise foods are separate. Quiet hours 10p-8a. I am looking for someone who treads softly, very self-aware of how their presence impacts their environment and uses transparent and kind communication. I work evenings and prefer someone who works days or evenings outside the home. I love to read books, listen to records, serve tea/cocao, garden, and host friends occasionally. We will have an initial video call to see if we are a possible fit and move to the next steps. Every potential tenant will need to submit a background and credit check. Month to month lease, looking for a long term roommate.
