Three miles out the Waterloo direction, literally at the Ames Road turn off.
We're using online estimating to try to account for the acreage and buildings. It would definitely be a great place for a business and equipment. The one outbuilding is an old two stall horse barn, great for storage.
The place needs some work. I started looking at making the updates that it needs, because it needs a new roof, no leaks but it's time before it becomes a necessity. It needs new gutters and the siding above the brick work needs replaced. There's some interior updating that has not been finished. But my decision was based on why do all these things as we were planning to sell in a year or two as we are now empty nesters so we decided to put it on the market and let somebody else make the changes and do things the way they would want to do it. I could put money the into this place and have a much more valuable piece of property but I don't want to go through that as we are approaching retirement age and ready to downsize.
