This apartment unit is located on the West side of the building (the QUIET SIDE) -- away from the traffic noise on Aurora Ave. This small (just 9 residential units), well-designed property was built in 2001 as condominiums and is located just minutes from downtown Seattle near the heart of the Fremont business district. This roomy unit starts on the 2nd floor level of the building (above 3 quiet commercial businesses on the ground floor level). The apartment itself is three stories tall (with a roomy bedroom and full bath on BOTH the second and third floors), and features partial views of the Olympic Mountains to the West. The main floor is a well-designed open kitchen with modern stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave), a convenient breakfast bar, and a nice-sized dining/living room. Just off the living room (on the west side of the building) is an adjoining deck. The second-floor bedroom also has an adjoining West-facing deck. The "primary" bedroom is on the top floor. This is a "No Smoking" building. Renters' insurance is required (minimum liability coverage of $500,000 -- which is normally less than $18 per month). Minimum 14 to 18-month lease to start. Move-in funds required for qualified applicants are the first month's rent (prorated if the lease begins after the first day of the month), a refundable security deposit, and any additional deposits or monthly rent for parking or pets.
The unit is all electric. Tenants pay all utilities -- electricity is metered and billed directly to you. Water, sewer, and garbage are billed back.
Pet policy -- Two pet limit- (cats only, no dogs or exotic animals). Must be at least a year old, housebroken/litter box trained, spayed & neutered, have all required vaccinations, and with positive landlord references -- an additional deposit would be required. (Deposit $400 for one pet, $500 for two pets) -- pet rent is $35 per month for one pet, $50 per month for two pets. Pets must be screened by going to umanopm. There is a small fee for pet screening. There is no fee for verifiable "service animals".
