Open to Dall Sheep Hunting the beyond ridge line behind the house (2-3 hour hike). Trail system in state park leads to additional hunting areas. Nearby, the Eklutna Tail Race supports a King and Silver Salmon Run. Storage/Garage: While there is no garage, the south side of the house has a 8X32 foot "dry area" under the roof overhang that provides a great storage area and functions like an unheated garage. We store ed10 cord of firewood, freezer, 2 ATV's, bikes, lumber,etc in this area. There is also an 10 x 8 Shed. 25 miles to JBER and 35 miles to downtown Anchorage. (Closer then the Valley). 8 mile paved, well plowed road connects to the Glenn Highway.
