Wildlife abounds including eagles, ducks, loons, herons, fox, etc... There are hiking trails that you can walk to from the house. When the lake is frozen you can walk, snowshoe, ice skate and cross country ski on the lake or many areas close by, including a golf course a few minutes away. It also has good sledding hills. The house is on a dirt road...so all wheel drive or snow tires are highly recommended. Heat, electricity, internet, plowing and mowing included. The tenant is responsible for shoveling the walkway to the driveway and keeping snow away from the crawlspace door on the side of the house. Portland is less than 20 minutes away. Maine Medical Center is less than 25 minutes, depending upon traffic. The closest supermarket is 8-10 minutes, gas and a good cup of coffee is 5 minutes. If you don't want to go in to Portland there are a few good restaurants are 5-10 minutes. There are two small downhill ski places less than an hour away and Sunday River is about 1 1/2 hours away.
