Private bedrooms, shared bathroom. All common areas in a single-family home are shared (kitchen, living room, patio, laundry facilities, etc.) No Access to garage.
No Smoking/Vaping or use of any drugs/nicotine in the home. No drugs on the premises of the home.
1. Communication and Respect:
Regularly communicate about shared spaces, chores, and any issues that arise.
2. Respect Personal Space:
Always knock before entering another roommate's room and respect their personal belongings.
3. Respect Privacy:
Avoid eavesdropping or gossiping about your roommate's personal life, even if you find something you didn't expect.
4. Shared Responsibilities: Cleaning Schedule:
Clean up after yourself and your guests in cleaning shared areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and living room.
5. No Pets (no cats, no dogs, no turtles, no fish, no reptiles, no rabbits, no birds, etc.)
6. Noise and Quiet Hours: Establish specific quiet hours, especially at night, to ensure everyone gets enough sleep.
7. Music and Television: Discuss acceptable noise levels and music/TV volume, particularly during quiet hours.
8. Be Mindful of Others: Be considerate of your roommate's schedule and avoid loud conversations or activities that might disturb them.
9. Guest and Party Policies: Guest Rules: Discuss guest policies, including the number of guests allowed, noise levels, and overnight stays with landlord. No guests permitted to stay more than a 2 day period, unless approved by landlord.
10. Party Rules: If you intend to have parties, discuss noise restrictions, clean-up responsibilities, and guest behavior.
11. Financial Matters: Rent is due on the 1st of every month with a (4) day grace period. Please pay rent in either direct deposit or cash. No personal checks accepted.
12. You are responsible for your own groceries and household supplies.
13. Conflict Resolution: Early Communication: Address conflicts early on to prevent them from escalating.
14. Mediation: If you cannot resolve issues on your own, please reach out to the landlord to help mediate the situation.
15. This is a shared home, please be willing to compromise and find solutions that work for everyone involved.
