The first floor has a formal entry foyer, a living room with fireplace and big screen projector, a formal dining room, large kitchen with a family room/sun room attached, half bathroom and laundry. It also has a large front porch and back yard patio with a garden area with plenty of seating and a fire pit. We're respectful and fun. We enjoy hanging out together as a house from time to time, playing chess, enjoying the fireplace and during nice weather spending time on the large front porch and back patio. We tend to keep it pretty quiet during the week and enjoy the back yard garden patio on the weekends grilling and playing ping pong. Location: The house is a 15 minute walk from the Red Line and several bus routes that converge at the cross street. Buses steps from the porch take you to Georgetown, Tenleytown, Columbia Heights, Dupont Circle, and beyond. There is ample street parking in the neighborhood. We are steps to Wisconsin Avenue which features restaurants, coffee shops, bookstore, video shop, health club, post office, dry cleaners and a grocery store within walking distance.
