The full basement houses the 10 batteries, inverter and charge controller for the solar system powered by four 315 watt photovoltaic panels on the east side of the cabin. In the basement you will also see a propane fired water heater, a clothes washer, the pressure tank for the well water and a single garage bay for vehicle, ATV, snowmobile or tool storage. The woodfired hot tub needs some TLC, but would be welcome in the shoulder seasons and in the winter.
