We have made the difficult decision to sell my old family farmhouse that has been in the family for over 100 years. It's time for a new family to take over and make your own memories. The large back yard leading to the bank overlooking the water is a great place to do just that. There are many apple trees and a place for a good-sized garden. Inside, the house has many updates. The first floor has the kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, and ¾ bathroom. There is also a laundry room in the breezeway downstairs between the kitchen and 2 car garage. The foundation is granite and holds the new furnace that was put in in 2018, along with the oil tank that was new in 2019. 2019 also brought a new roof and new chimney. Upstairs there are 3 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. When I was growing up there was no indoor bathroom. As an adult, I put a small, modest bathroom in downstairs for my mother. Later on, I was able to make it a little larger and remodel it. I thought a new family coming in would want the extra bathroom upstairs as well. New carpets were installed upstairs in 2020 along with new sheetrock. There are updates that you may want to make, but I have tried to take an old farmhouse, keep the authenticity of it, yet make it more comfortable for the next owners.
