Fully furnished 1,982 sq ft townhouse, renovated two years ago, walking distance to downtown Princeton, top-notch school district, swimming pool and tennis court. We are both faculty members at Princeton University and will be away for a sabbatical from 15th June 2025 to 15th January 2026. We want to rent our fully furnished townhouse that was renovated just two years ago with high-end appliances and fixtures. We live in this beautiful home with our 16-month-old baby. It is our first home and tastefully decorated with solid maple shelves, bench made beds, handmade rugs and bathroom tiles, and a lot of love and care. It is also the quietest house we have ever lived in. It is sandwiched between two cul-de-sacs. You only hear blue jays and occasional woodpeckers, and have foxes, rabbits, and deers who visit. The backyard opens to a forest like view of pine trees and evergreen shrubs, the master bedroom overlooks this beautiful scenery, and furnished with maple wood bed and luxury mattress, it is very relaxing. The house has three full-sized bedrooms with amply designed closets, and one office room with two desks, which can also be used as a fourth bedroom. The house has two full-size bathrooms and one powder bathroom. One guest room is currently used as a baby room with a crib, but we can remove the crib and replace it with a one-person bed. If you have a toddler, you will find the setup turnkey! We can also offer a toddler bed. The kitchen comes furnished with cutlery, pans, and basic kitchen appliances (toaster, kettle, small mixer). Basement access is excluded. Free street parking is available in abundance, and if you rent our car you get access to garage. The house comes with free access to a pool and tennis court (shared with a small number of others houses in the same HOA). The pool is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and in July-august open every day from 12-8pm. Tennis court is available all year round. You must comply with basic community rules of access and civility. The house is on walking distance to downtown Princeton and Princeton Shopping Center (which houses many nice cafes, restaurants, McCaffrey's supermarket, and Walgreens). The house is in one of the best school districts in the country. We can rent it in the following variations: 1) Excluding master suite The rent is 4500$ per month 2) Including master suite - The rent is $5,500 per month (only available post interview) 3) Third option - If you are okay with taking on two of our cats (highly social and lovable) while you stay, we can subsidize the rent. But that option is only available based on an interview and discussion on travel arrangements, etc. The cats have a litter robot (no scooping), health insurance, and automated food systems requiring very little work. You can also take trips of 2 nights max without requiring any cat-sitting arrangements. We are also open to renting our car and bikes based on the interview. The rent excludes electricity and gas but includes HOA, water, trash, and internet. You also must take on our weekly cleaning service, which is extra. We have an amazing Ecuadorian woman who comes weekly for 120$ per week, and we would like to ensure she can earn a living (at minimum twice a month, but preferably weekly). You must take on renter's insurance. Note you don't have to insure the external structure as it is ensured by the HOA, so the insurance may be cheaper.
