BellTel Lofts at 365 Bridge Street in Brooklyn was considered Brooklyn’s first skyscraper. The building is significant example of the art-deco style and was designed by Ralph Walker, who was named architect of the century by the American Institute of Architects.
Voted a landmark in 2004, the building is now owned by Clipper Equity and was converted into apartments in 2008 by Beyer Blinder Belle, the same firm behind the restoration of Grand Central Terminal and the renovation of the Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg.
27 stories, this highrise has a concierge and a full-time doorman, as well as a garage, garden, children’s playroom, lounge, fitness center, and a rooftop terrace, among other amenities.
