Looking to find a tenant to take over my lease in Fremont starting around 4/1/22 (I'm flexible on exact move-in date) through 8/14/22, with the option to renew with building management once my existing lease term is up.
This was my first solo living situation and I've been really happy here but have to move because of a life change: I recently became a small business owner and I require significantly more space so I'm moving from the "center of the universe" to the 'burbs. :(
The unit:
Third/top floor 223 sq ft. walk-up studio apartment in prime Fremont location just off 36th street. It's a quiet unit at the back of the building away from the street and only shares 1 wall with another unit. A large south-facing window with a view of Queen Anne hill lets in a lot of light and cool breezes in the warmer months. All appliances/fixtures work well and I've found building management responds promptly to maintenance requests over the 1.5 years I've lived here.
A few deal breakers for some:
-No pets.
-No smoking.
-No a.c. but one could easily use a portable unit.
-Street parking only.
A few bonuses for others:
-One paid washer & dryer per floor
-A secured bike/package room on the first floor never had any trouble finding an empty spot to lock my bike and never had any packages stolen.
-Shared outdoor patio with grill & picnic table out back.
-Super convenient to the Burke Gilman trail & the Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop to downtown, as well as plenty of nearby bus lines (5, 28, 31, 32, 40, 62).
-Steps away from Fremont's main drag of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, & events like the weekly Fremont Sunday Market
-I would be open to selling certain items that I bought specifically for the apt, namely the Ikea Vadholma kitchen island I'm so, so bummed to part with it but it doesn't fit in my new space.
Lease terms:
Rent is $1,350/month + the following built-in utilities: $40 w/s/g/g & $40 1GB fiber wifi = $1,430 total. The only utility you'd be responsible for is the metered electrical which is offset by your own 3 roof solar panels this averaged me about $35/month in winter (electric wall heater) and as low as $5/month during the summer.
If interested you will have to apply through management's website and be approved before we can move forward with the lease transfer.
Renter's insurance is required along with last month's rent deposit ($1,350) & a refundable security deposit ($1,000).
