This house is a piece of rural PA history. Owned by the Reese family for decades, it was sold to me back in 2007. It has so many charming amenities, like the pond (large mouth bass and sunnies for fishing), the party shack (small hut built in the 50s at the end of the pond for camp fires and parties), a barn an acre cleared (enough for a horse or two, or maybe some small livestock), a stream with minnows for fishing and crayfish, trails that run through the woods and into the tree farm above (owner lets us ride the horses there), a small deck out back (built in 2008), and even an original outhouse. The inside has been mostly updated (at least all the shag carpet is gone!). It is always so quiet here and neighbors keep to themselves, yet you can drive a mile and be into town - close enough to walk or bike! Even in the worst floods, we barely have a drop because the house is situated on the hillside and not in the valley. In the summer you can fall asleep listening the the frogs and the owls, and in the winter you can sled down the hills. Every season is beautiful here, and there is plenty of wildlife and room for your family (furry ones included) to run.
