Looking for ONE PERSON ONLY for this stunning suite in Victorian mansion in Jamaica Plain. Five minute walk to Orange Line AND Green Line (39 Bus to the Medical area). Gorgeous big bedroom/living room combination, plus stunning ensuite bathroom with marble and china antique fixtures, 6 foot long soaking tub, plus modern tile shower with dual shower heads. Adorable kitchen is small but efficient, with stainless sink and refrigerator, plus modern air fryer, microwave and induction cook top. Lots of lovely Victorian detail here, outside and inside -- tall ceilings, detailed moldings, large windows to North, East and South. Large Ten minute walk to Jamaica Pond and Arnold Arboretum. Five to ten minute walk to lots of restaurants, shops, the post office, banks. Walk or bike to get groceries at City Feed, Whole Foods or Stop and Shop. Two short blocks to bike path to downtown Boston. Short bike ride or walk to all parks in the Emerald Necklace, including the famous Forest Hills Cemetery. Parking unrestricted on street -- no permit required. Off street parking may become available over the winter. You are welcome to enjoy our stunning landscaped side and rear yard, furnished patios, outdoor wifi, perennial beds, gas grill, koi pond with waterfalls and even a hammock under our rare yellow magnolia! Eight fruit-bearing trees, three types of berry bushes, three types of grapes on a long pergola, and a vegetable food garden. I'm the owner. I live on the first floor with my family. We are quiet, respectful and very friendly. We always welcome seeing our tenants in the backyard; we worked hard creating it, so we love to see you enjoying it. One small, hypoallergenic, mature dog will be considered. Utilities are in addition to rent, paid with the rent monthly, and INCLUDE ALL of the following: high speed internet, heat, electricity, and water. These total $160 monthly. ONE PERSON ONLY -- sorry but we cannot accommodate couples. Looking for ONE PERSON ONLY with no pets for this space. You would be living on one of the loveliest historic mansions in Boston, and have your own spacious, private living room / bedroom suite with closet-kitchen and private bath and double shower. Magnificent grounds with fruit trees and koi pond. Six minute walk to dozens of talk out restaurants, banks, CVS, grocery store, post office. Off street parking may be negotiable. However parking is free and unrestricted in front of the house. Five minute walk to Green and Orange lines -- both! Two blocks from bike path to pedal to downtown Boston safely in minutes. A deep porch, framed by pairs of doric columns, wraps around most of the house; the west-side porch is a stupendous spot from which to enjoy the sunsets. Our home also has extensive grounds, with a two level yard, tiered by a serpentine, flat-stone wall; a dozen fruit bearing trees and shrubs (quince, blueberry, black berry, goose berry); three varieties of grapes growing on a tall pergola; a koi pond with waterfall and colorful comets and koi darting up to the surface. All this is only a few minutes from downtown Boston by T or bike along bike path, both only two blocks from us. We are located one block from the 39 Bus to the medical area (about a ten minute ride) and about a six minue walk to the Green Steet subway stop on the Orange Line. The rent, $2200, is based on a one year lease. Utilities -- including heat, hot water, and electricity -- average $170 monthly.
