I am moving in with my girlfriend and so have to give up my beautiful, sunny apartment on the top floor of a building in Adams Point. Apartment has huge windows on each wall so gets a lot of light at all times of day. New hardwood floors, and a tree in the bedroom window giving privacy and some filtered light. Quiet building with respectful tenants. Neighbourhood is (I am biased), one of the nicest in Oakland and the East Bay more generally. Can walk down the street to Lake Merritt. Trader Joes and the Saturday Lakeshore Farmers market are walking distance or a three minute drive. Whole foods is also very close. Getting to downtown is really easy with the bike-share nearby. The 580 freeway is around the corner which is perfect for commuting. The street is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Great price for a place with plenty of room, 550 square feet. Living space is large can fit much more than I have in it, which is a sectional and a desk. Gated (!) parking in the building is available for an additional $110 a month (which is market rate), street parking is free but getting a space can be competitive. Requirements: 1) Gross income exceeding three times monthly rent or be financially stable. 2) Good credit or willing to pay a higher deposit. For the application you will need: 1) Completed Application 2) $35 dollar application fee (for the credit check). 3) Proof of income (payroll stub or bank statements). 4) Drivers License or Passport Owner pays Water and Garbage. $2100 dollar security deposit.
