Fuller-Crafts House, one of the oldest extant homes in Newton. Homestead of Amariah Fuller, captain revolutionary war, led company at Lexington and Concord and battle of Cambridge. Neighborhood Description The neighborhood surrounds Albemarle Field, the local park which includes fields, the Avery Woods (protected forest land), and the Garth Pool. A short walk north takes you to the river walk, lovely walking and bike paths along the Charles River that lead toward Watertown and Boston beyond, or out to Waltham and other towns west of Newton.
