Greenwood was built in 1792 in the very southwest corner of Mississippi high above the river at the Louisiana line six years before the Mississippi Territory was created. Today it is a beautifully restored house with stocked ponds for great fishing and 136 acres of terrific hunting. It has several outbuildings.
