Our Philly-Style apartment is available for short or medium term rentals. There are two bedrooms - one on each floor and one bath. Beautifully decorated with family antiques and new modern furniture. Lots of original and unique art is hung across the walls. Marimekko (which is across the street) fabrics and pillows are strewn around each room. The apartment is alive with color and puts you in a good mood just looking around. The kitchen has a island with 3 stools and the dining room table seats 8 making it a great space for entertaining. There are two regular queen sized beds - one in each bedroom and two self inflating queen mattresses for extra guests if needed. Sheets, towels, and other linens included. Place settings for 6 and cabinets and enough pots and pans to get by. The Neighborhood Huron Village is the greatest neighborhood in Cambridge (okay - we're bias). Conveniently located between Harvard Square and Fresh Pond our home is at the center of it all. The house sits at the intersection of Mobilia Gallery, Marimekko, and the Cambridge Trust Bank. The Fresh Pond Market is just across the street for all your grocery needs including beer and wine. If you don't feel like cooking then cross the street to Full Moon a European-American bistro or the Village Kitchen which has great pizza and italian fare. Just up the street is Formaggio's Kitchen a gourmand's paradise offer the best cheese selection in the world! There are a dozen more funky independent shops around for clothing, furniture, books and more. Huron Village is bustling by day and quiet at night. The bus stop (72) is right out the front door making it easy to get to Harvard Square and beyond in just minutes. You can walk to Harvard Square in just 10-15 minutes too.
