Upon entering the home, you'll be overcome by the exquisite wood work within the stately home a home built for the Mayor of Corvallis (and later a judge) back in 1906. The entrance boasts a custom-built reception bar crafted with reclaimed wood from the Willamette Valley, which perfectly encases a large, "L" shape Fully electric standing desk for your daytime responsibilities! The downstairs living space is open and airy, with the large living room adjacent to the dining room, which opens into the spacious & luxurious gourmet kitchen. The living room has cozy seating and a 45 inch flat screen Smart TV. The dining room seats 8 people and has a remote-controlled gas fireplace to keep you cozy during dinner. The kitchen has great, open counter space to eat a sunny breakfast, or you can opt for the quiet kitchen table tucked away to do your crosswords. There is a second work station (built in desk) off of the kitchen, if more work space is needed there is plenty of desk and counter space throughout the home for multiple people doing remote work. The spectacular contemporary kitchen is a highlight of this home with quartz countertops, custom maple cabinets, and stylish accents. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher) and a toaster. This kitchen makes everyone feel as if they are on the set of a cooking show with everything needed for the home chef or for entertaining. The kitchen boasts a separate wine refrigerator, a Jura Espresso Machine, Soda Stream, a countertop ice machine, and a Ninja blender for your morning smoothies. We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with the softest towels and highest quality bedding. The main home for rent is 3,400 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The adjoining "Carriage House" is 1200 sq. feet, and has a 1 bedroom, 2 bath separate apartment. (NOTE: There are no shared spaces within the units, and both units have separate entrances. This is a "dual " living scenario, with 2 high-end units that may be rented separately, or the entire property can be rented as a whole, as available). Professional cleaning: The home is professionally cleaned prior to your stay and fresh linens and towels are provided, and monthly rent covers 1 professional cleaning per month. Families: Families and children are welcome, but due to the historic staircase and windows, we do not allow children under the age of 8. No noise policy in effect: 10pm-8am. This is a family-friendly neighborhood. Quiet and respectful guests are welcome. Smoking or vaping is strictly not allowed anywhere on the property. House available between 1/27/25 and 3/17/25, $500 off between this date range. Then the house is available after 9/2/25. Terms: This property may ONLY be rented for 1 month or more. Please contact the owner for availability and for pro-rating rent for partial months. Rent includes all utilities, including high speed internet, gas, electric, water/sewer, trash/recycling, and gardening. There are 4 dedicated parking spaces on the property for our tenants, and off-street parking. There is a modern Washer/Dryer in the home, which is accessed from the kitchen or the backdoor. Pets: We will consider 1 well behaved dog on a case by case basis, with owner approval and $1500 pet deposit. Please note, there is no fenced yard and we are on a main street in Corvallis, so kids and pets must stay close to their parents.
