Purchased 6 years ago as my first home. Put a lot of time, effort, love and $$ (lol) into it. In the past 6 years, I've had a new furnace, water heater, windows and metal roof put in. Hardwood floors all refurbished. Insulation from top to bottom. New fridge. I kept all records of improvements made. All appliances stay - fridge (including a spare in the basement), stove, microwave, washer and dryer. Have lines in the basement and outside for laundry (to save those extra pennies)! Taxes were only around $900 a year. Same with homeowners insurance - about $900 a year. Front and back porches. The attic and basements offered a crazy amount of storage space!!!
