    Thanks for looking at our lake home. We have owned this home for six yars and it is a real treasure. It is located in Brittany Harbor subdivision and is fairly close to Tugalo State Park and I-85. This subdivision is well maintained and has covenants that keeps everyone on the same page. Our lot is in a cul-de-sac and is a level lot sloping to the lake. We are in a quiet cove, and only 5 minutes away from Harbor Light Marina. We have a covered one slip dock that allows us to access that beautiful part of Lake Hartwell. Our home has so much character that I don't even know where to begin. The first part of the home was built in 1970 but ht eh majority of the home was added in about 1994. You enter on the main floor and see heart pine floors with large exposed beams and vaulted ceilngs. There is a bedroom and 1/2 bath along with the den (great room), kitchen, dining room and sun porch on this floor. The kitchen is wonderful with granite countertops, tile floors, and vaulted ceiling. The dining room overlooks the lake and is beautiful. The sunporch opens up to redwood decks that will withstand the test of time. Go up the stairs and you will be in a sitting area/computer nook. The possibilities are endless here. You will find the master bedroom and bath on this level as well. The heart pine floors continue along with the tongue and groove ceilings. Go down the stairs and you are in for a special treat. The floor on this level is slate and there is a very nice size bedroom and full bath as well. The bath is a pretty tile with an open shower. As you enter the lower level, ther is space for a wet bar or a miini kitchen. The laundry is on this level. If that is not enough, there is another sunporch that is paneled and has windows for many more entertaining options. Going outside on this lower level takes you to a wonderful set up for hours of fun, fellowship, adn just relaxing. You probably say if it is so great- why are we selling? Like many folks, we are trying to streamline some of our possessions iin this tight econiby. this house appraised for over $350,000 when we purchased it 6 years ago and even appraised for over $300,000 last year so our price of $256,900 is truly a bargain. Neighborhood Description You are going to love this neighborhood! The neighborhood association maintains the roads and they do an excellent job. The yearly dues of $175.00 help to keep the roads and such in great shape. There are covenants and this primarily allows for only stick built homes to be constructed in the neighborhood. This is advantageous in keeping the home values stable. The tree lined entry to our cul-de-sac is a wonderful approach to our home.
