Charming, Spacious (aprox. 880 sq ft) and sunny, for a Basement, 1+ bedroom basement apartment, in my house on a quiet tree lined street in South Mt. Tabor neighborhood.
Private entrance through green and peaceful backyard/garden with off street parking.
This is a very clean, well-maintained, unique and cheerful apartment with nice details like attached shelves and nice wood molding. Carpeted livingroom and huge (16.5 ft x 11.8 ft) bedroom. There is extra space that could be an office or study, plus room for storage. Laundry is included. The laundry room is shared with me and my daughter and is right in the basement, so I respectfully access the laundry room through a small hallway of the apartment, very unobtrusive, mainly when the tenant is out. It has worked fine in the past, but one must be comfortable with this needed access about once every 12 days. Otherwise it is completely private with a separate entrance.
There is also some storage available in the garage. Walk to Mt. Tabor, restaurants, transportation and grocery shopping.
I'm a mature mom/artist/climate activist. My daughter came back home for a time, due to Covid. We have a couple of happy cats. We value the environment and tread softly on the earth, which means we actively conserve energy and resources. For example, I wear layers, bottom and top in the winter, so I am super comfortable keeping the heat low. It's comfy enough though, just on the lower end. I'm also working to reduce my trash and have a very small trash bin.

Looking for a considerate, employed, non-smoking, light drinking, naturally clean, quiet, easygoing person. Overnight guests are fine on a basis of about 1 time per week, and possibly a few weeks out of the year...but honestly, much more than that wouldn't be good.

Rent is $1025 and utilities of electric, gas, water/sewer and garbage are $140, for a monthly total of $1165. The security deposit is $1000. I also have Hi Speed Internet. A well cared for cat is allowed. The pet rent is an additional $10 per month. No pet deposit.
