This particular architectural feature, while unique and stunning, also means that this home is not well-suited for guests with young children or infants as it poses a fall hazard. The master retreat (with a memory foam king bed) is tucked away on the upper level. This private oasis with reading nook is also drenched with natural light as it has an entire wall of windows (with blackout curtains) as is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The lower level is where you'll find the large, well-appointed kitchen that is equipped with all the essentials to help you maintain your healthy lifestyle: - Vitamix and bullet blender - Well stocked pantry with dry goods and spices - Pick your scent for the diffuser - Selection of herbal teas, and coffee - Air Fryer Relax away the worries of the day in the 2 person sauna, and then follow it up with a cold plunge in the back yard. Private, on-site breath work and plunging experiences available. NOTE: The Victorian charm is a bit more evident on the lower level and there is one area where the bulkhead height is on the low side (6 feet). While this is very typical in older Toronto homes, we just wanted to alert our taller guests. Maximum height in the kitchen is 6'5" so if you are taller than this, the kitchen won't be ideal for you. Outdoors/Patio: Relax and enjoy summer meals on the BBQ under the covered eating area and enjoy the quiet the neighbourhood and the ambience of the twinkle lights. If you are brave, take dip in our cold plunge pool to recharge your health. Parking: There is parking for one car in a private drive on the side street. Guest access This property has a shared front door entry with the tenants who live in the upper floor unit. There is a keypad entry for the front doors as well as for the back door. The back entry via the yard and kitchen is private for you only - the upstairs tenants do not have access to this area or to the parking. Check your spam filters as the automated check-in instructions tend to end up there. Other things to note This property is not suited at all for small/young children of any age (who are either crawling or who are prone to climbing) due to a falling hazard related to the open concept gallery which is open to the dining room below.
