Once upon a time, there was an absolutely adorable house in Hill East that sat very close to two metro stops, with lots of development coming up nearby. It boasted tasteful updates, central AC, newish kitchen appliances, and nicely sized bedrooms. One day the owner walked out of the huge master walk-in closet and said to his wife, "You know what I love most in this world? Cooking up some burgers in our perfect backyard, popping open a bottle of wine in our tastefully updated kitchen, and sitting on the front porch while watching life stroll by in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Washington, DC." His wife poked her head out of the modernized bathroom featuring a skylight over the shower and said, "You know what? You're right. Why don't we walk over to the Harris Teeter and make that happen tonight? Hopefully the new Safeway opens soon since it's just a couple of blocks away."
