Home is part of the CLARKDALE Historic District as designated by Federal, State, and Local governments and does NOT have an Austell address. The Historic District is comprised of 96 homes, green space and a large mill that was once owned and operated by the Coats and Clark thread company. The three story brick mill building has been completely renovated and houses office, government and retail space. Community improvement projects were completed in 2003 with new and repaired sidewalks, trees and period appropriate streetlights.
