I'm looking for some friendly, responsible housemates!
I have two rooms available, and BOTH have private bathrooms! Details are below:
THE ROOMS & RENTS:
One standard size bedroom with private half bathroom. Shares a full bathroom with one housemate. Rent: First month is discounted to $675, subsequent months are $775 / month.
One large bedroom with private full bathroom (incl. shower). New marble shower & countertops! New hardwood floors! New paint! New windows! Rent: First month is discounted to $775, subsequent months are $825 / month
THE PROPERTY:
The common areas are nicely furnished, but the rooms are not furnished (so you'll need to bring your own bed, desk, etc.).
Common areas include a bright, nice kitchen/dining area, and a living room with large sliding glass door that opens onto patio and back yard. New flooring & paint, and brand new furniture!
Back yard features huge patio area (~750 sq ft, half of which is covered), and a peaceful back yard--it's a great place to relax.
Large laundry room with brand new washer & dryer.
THE HOUSEMATES:
The two existing housemates are young professionals. We're all friendly, easy to get along with, and like to keep the place quiet and clean a great group! Every housemate is background checked, and everyone is responsible and trustworthy.
THE LOCATION:
Taylorsville (quick access to everything!)
Neighborhood is well-maintained, quiet, and safe.
Convenient location with quick access to just about everything.
Walk to Valley Regional Park (one of the largest & best parks in the area with a huge pool, gym, trails, etc.)
Less than 5 minutes to Interstate 215, Salt Lake Community College (Taylorsville), gyms like Planet Fitness and VASA, and countless grocery stores, shops and restaurants.
~12 minutes to downtown SLC, Sugarhouse, SLC airport, Liberty Park, 9th & 9th, Westminster College, ~15 minutes to the U of U.
~15-20 minutes to the Wasatch mountains.
THE LEASE TERMS:
Each room is single occupancy.
The lease will run through May 2026 (at which time, you can renew or move out).
Application will require a background check, references, and proof of income/employment (paystubs).
The first month's rent, and deposit (same amount as one full month of rent/utils) are required at lease signing. The last month's rent will be due within 45 days of the lease signing. Utilities are split evenly between the housemates.
