Beautiful, Unique, Top Floor Two Story Apartment!! Well lit, stunning, 2 floor (both upper floors in building), apartment (basically a house with two apartments below it) one street behind Hawthorne Blvd. This house is quiet yet centrally located. You will be about a 3 minute walk from the Bagdad Theater yet also on a quiet street with a HUGE backyard. There is plenty of space in the fully fenced yard and you are more then welcome (invited in fact) to plant fruits and veggies if you are inclined to grow organically. The yard gets a lot of sun, so it is perfect for this! Raspberries are already planted-) The house is a triplex. Your potential home would be on the top two floor that have windows which open directly into the backyard (as well as the front). Of course the unit is completely private and is a completely separate apartment. There is a big porch on the front as well as the back of the apartment (not shown in the pictures, but you will definitely see them when you come by!). Please do note that this apartment is 4 bedrooms but to be fair one of these is quite small and better used as on office but does have its own door and windows so it really is a "bedroom", just a smaller one. However to be clear the apartment, as stated already, is huge and takes up an entire two floors-) Please realize that if you can't or don't want to climb stairs then this apartment is NOT for you. On the other hand, if you like a unique place with great light and the views that "living-on-top" afford you then you should take a look! Finally as the pictures show, an ENTIRE wall of the house in a top apartment has been removed and replaced by a "window wall". That is a special room indeed... The house (apartment below you) is lived in by professionals (including a law student). All the tenants are quite nice and friendly and get along well. This "rental" won't be typical in that you will be dealing with me (the owner) and not some rental agency and strange tenants living next to you. On the other hand this also means that this is not a party house and while clearly you will not be living in a "library" you need to be cognizant of the fact that the folks living below you need peace and quiet at night. There have not been problems with this in the many years I have owned this building (as well as lived in this apartment myself in the past) but I just felt this was important to mention. There is no screening fee, application fee, or other garbage you are charged by rental agencies. I will however ask for references, a credit check (which we can do together for free), and a security deposit and a small cleaning fee, which is standard.
