This home is situated on 3 acres, about 1 acre is lightly wooded and the remaining is wooded. The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors on either side are far enough away to feel secluded. About a 35 minutes drive to downtown Charlottesville and main attractions, a near 15 minutes drive to the South entrance to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park, a near 15 minutes drive to the North entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and The George Washington National Forest, and about a 15 minutes drive to Wintergreen Resort. This property was recently deep cleaned with touch up paint after previous tenants moved out. The heating and AC unit was repaired and condesor replaced the summer of 2022. All new kitchen appliances installed in the spring of 2022. Washer and dryer replaced in spring of 2020. This is a flexible and open rental. Ideally lease is at least 3 months in length and is negotiable. The house is lightly furnished: there is a table, couches, desks, bookshelf, beds, and nightstands. However, there are no essential items stocked in the kitchen or bathrooms. Utilities are included I the rent with exception: the electric bill is covered up to $200, electric bills in excess of $200 will be required by the tenant to pay the balance over the $200 limit (the average electric bill through the year is typically $120-$180/mo). Pets are allowed as long as there is good faith that they are house trained, well-behaved, and cleaning will be maintained if they shed. There is not a fence around the property and there are wildlife, especially deer, that roam around the open space in the yard. Please be mindful if you have a dog that is not trusted off leash or may be strong or smart enough to escape a lead. Absolutely no smoking of any kind inside the home: tobacco, Marijuana, vape, etc. Please smoke outside on the porch and dispose of cigarette or cigar waste in the trash. There is no trash pickup services at this location. Trash and recycling is pre-sorted and self transported to the facility. Rockfish Valley Recreation Center is approximately 4 miles away where trash and recycling can be dropped off Tuesday-Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
