We comfortably sleep up to 8 guests and have two full baths, one upstairs and one downstairs. Did we mention the location? The house is minutes from some of the best attractions in Ashe County. You'll be less than 5 minutes from downtown Lansing and only 10 minutes from downtown West Jefferson. Be sure to check out all the boutique shops, galleries, antiques, restaurants, and shows these towns have to offer! You can hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway just a short drive from the house and enjoy long-range views in either direction. Looking for some River Time? Check out Elk Shoals, a favorite spot for Ashe County locals. Little ones can play on the gravel "beach" while older kids and adults can enjoy tubing and swimming. If you'd like to rent a kayak, Zaloo's off Highway 16 and River Girl Fishing in Todd are both fantastic options. Lansing Creeper Trail is great for walks and fishing. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy Mt. Jefferson State Park. The trails here offer long-range views and many picnic spots... perfect for a day's outing. Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather can occur here from November through April. This property is accessed and maintained via a gravel road which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from weather conditions out of our control. $200 pet fee for up to two dogs. $100 of pet fee is refundable within 3 days of check out assuming no pet damages.
