Available immediately for rent is a beautiful loft studio apartment that is bright and open - in a fantastic location right on the border of Dormont and Mt. Lebanon. I have a video walk through video of the apartment posted on Youtube. The apartment has high ceilings and 3 HUGE windows - so it is very bright and airy. It also has an awesome kitchen with butcher block counters, a subway tile back splash, and a HUGE island with seating for multiple bar stools. It also has two large double door closets. So plenty of room for clothes and storage. It's right across the street from the Dormont Junction T stop and easy walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and other amenities in both Dormont and uptown Mt. Lebanon. The rent is $645 per month plus electric. Heat is included with the rent - so no surprise $200+ gas bills in the winter. Water is also included. Pets OK with additional $15/mth add on to rent. We just finished remodeling the apartment so it is vacant and available to move in immediately. The 5 questions I get the most about the apartment are as follows: 1) How big is is? It is a studio - so obviously it is going to be on the smaller side. But there is a distinct area to put a bed and curtain room divider to separate it from the living/kitchen area. This place is perfect for someone that wants something clean, stylish, and trendy - and doesn't mind sacrificing a bit on the space to get it. 2) Is there laundry onsite? Although there isn't onsite laundry, there is a laundry mat 2 doors down from the building. So even though it isn't onsite, it is just about as close as you can get. Plus, being a laundry mat - they have many more washers and dryers then I could put at an onsite facility so no down time waiting for one of the other tenants to get their stuff out. 3) Is there off street parking? For parking, the building is right on W. Liberty avenue so there is no offstreet parking. But just down the street is a Dormont Municipal parking lot that is metered with 45 parking spaces. The great thing is that they only require you to feed the meters from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. So you can park there in the evenings, overnight, and weekends for free. So if you work a 9 to 5 job, its no problem - there is abundant, free parking right down the street. Or there is on street parking about a block from the building. The onstreet parking requires a permit that you can only get if you are a resident of Dormont - and it is only a $15 annual fee to get the permit. So if you don't mind walking a block - parking is always available since non residents can't park on the street for over an hour. 4) Do you allow pets? Yes I do. Pets are ok for additional $15/mth in rent and extra $100 non refundable security deposit for professional carpet cleaning upon departure. 5) Do you charge an application fee? Yes, I have a $15 fee for an application that covers the cost of a credit check. I am having an open house to show the apartment Saturday 8/1/20 from 2 to 4 pm.
