Originally this berm house was designed by Jonathon Foote's Architecture & built in 1983. Owner remodeled in 2007. The base of the berm wall is 20"s thick, tapering to a 16" top - very sturdy. A wall of windows take advantage of southern exposure keeping propane consumption to a minimum while taking in a mountain view where elk and moose, etc. are regularly seen. Granite counter tops, tile floors, beautiful finishes, massive Jacuzzi tub, steam shower, skylights, & large office make this house is very cozy!
