Thirty minutes east from North Bend, 15 minutes from skiing at Snoqualmie, thirty minutes west of Cle Elum and 62 miles to Seattle. Rental minimum 6 month Fees & utilities in addition to base rent are: Electricity fee is based on usage (no need for tenant to set up a utility account). Flat fee of $260 includes: water, garbage, snow removal, HOA fees . Pets are considered on a case by case basis, and increases rent by $70/month and increases refundable deposit an additional $500. No smoking is allowed in the house. Main entrance is through sliding glass door accessed on lake side of house, parking is on other side of house. The owners will be using the upstairs part of the house on a regular basis and have 2 active children. But owners do not live here full time. Things to know: -- It is remote. The nearest big grocery store is located in Cle Elum or North Bend, smaller items available at the Summit at Snoqualmie or Easton. -- Post office box rentals are available in Easton for people wishing to live in the area full time. -- The Internet is currently through a satellite (Hughs Net) and it isn't great -- fiber internet through BlueSpan is coming sometime 2022, but we don't have a firm date yet. -- Because of all the trees (you're in the forest), most cell phone companies also do not work well unless you are right on the edge of the lake. Verizon is generally ok, sometimes AT&T, and T-mobile only if you have a newer phone. Best is to view the place and try making a call to see if the limited reception is acceptable for you. -- In the winter, there is A LOT of snow. The main road off the freeway (plowed by the county), as well as Via Kachess (plowed by HOA) are snow plowed regularly in winter same as drive way. However from the driveway to the front of your entrance you will need to plow and snow can get up to 6 feet of snow without regular removal. -- This past winter the power went out with PSE for 3-4 days while tenants were living there full time. This is unusual, but it did happen. There is no generator on-site (hook up is available to add one, though) and the temperatures are in the high 20- low 30s in the winter months. -- Tenants and guests must be non-smokers. -- Use of hot tub is shared and tenant is responsible for upkeep -- Dock use not included. -- Property uses a septic tank which was emptied and serviced in September 2021
