Residents of other states who live in a quarantine county or are from any other state outside of New England or New York (or outside of the Northeastern United States as of July 1, 2020), must follow quarantine guidelines: Travelers arriving to Vermont in a personal vehicle, may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test in their home state and enter Vermont without further quarantine restrictions. When inquiring, please let me know which county you'll be traveling from. Located in the beautiful Chimney Hill neighborhood, our house is just a short drive to Mount Snow! Our house has 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms both with wood burning stoves, and sleeps 8 adults. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is seating for 8 at the dining room table (with 2 additional high top seats at the counter top bar). On the main level, you will find the kitchen, dining area, living room, a bathroom and 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed. Downstairs, you will find a full bathroom (with a full bathtub, as well as a washer and dryer), another living room and 3 bedrooms - 2 with queen sized beds and 1 with a twin over double bunk bed. The top bunk is only available for guests under 100 lbs. The living room on the main level has a TV with cable, Netflix, a DVD player (with a selection of movies), and some board games. The downstairs living room has a TV with cable, Netflix, an Xbox and Nintendo Wii (with a selection of games) and features a pool table. A big hit with kids of all ages! The Chimney Hill community clubhouse is available for our guests' use during their stay (see note above with changes due to COVID-19) - you'll have access to both an indoor heated and outdoor heated pool (summer only), an indoor hot tub, fitness center, kids play room/game room, a movie room and a BYOB bar/kitchen. Near the outdoor pool is a children's playground. There are also an ice skating pond, a duck pond/fishing area, as well as basketball and tennis courts. We are located within a short drive to Mount Snow, with world class skiing/riding, as well as a golf course and mountain biking. The Haystack trailhead is within walking distance to our house; no need to worry about parking! A short 15-20 minute drive to Lake Whitingham (Harriman Reservior) and Lake Raponda for beautiful outdoor swimming, sunbathing, kayaking/canoeing. Four wheel drive and good tires are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED in the winter. The neighborhood is hilly and when conditions are snowy and icy, navigating the streets can be tricky. **The Chimney Hill Clubhouse is currently open with restrictions (reservations required 24 hrs in advance, 2 time slots mid week and 3 on the weekends, a completed certificate of compliance, face masks, etc). It will only be the outdoor pool and the bathrooms that are open, so the indoor pool and hot tub won't be available. There are outdoor showers to use before and after swimming.
