Historic ship building village on the Connecticut River. New York Captains of cross Atlantic tall ships made their home here in the 18th century and tall ships were built along its shore. Brass Ships bells were made in East Hampton of which Middle Haddam is part. The house is on a designated scenic route with plenty of natural woodlands surrounding.
