Our little cottage guesthouse (560sqft) is tucked away in the suburban Oakley neighborhood of Asheville. Custom-built features make this cozy-small-space special and functional. This space has been an Airbnb and we're looking to rent it while so many folks are looking for housing. Owners are long-time locals. The bottom level is light-filled with a fully-stocked modern kitchen and bar seating. Coffee and tea provided. The living area has a loveseat sofa with a pull-out single bed. The bathroom is downstairs including heated floors and a standing tile shower with bench. The ceilings are 7ft. The metal spiral staircase leads to an open-floor loft bedroom with firm memory foam, queen-sized mattress. This staircase is steep and can be challenging to use if you are big, tall, or have any type of mobility issues (e.g., arthritis). Also upstairs is a height-adjustable desk with chair, dressing area and space to spread out. The mattress is an extra firm memory foam mattress. Extra blankets, towels, and pillows available in the white dresser. **Please note that the spiral staircase is the only way to access the upstairs and you should feel comfortable navigating this staircase if booking our place. If you are big and/or tall or have mobility issues this could be a challenge. Dogs usually will not/cannot walk on it as the staircase is steep and narrow. Pet(s) allowed on case by case basis that is 100% house trained, on flea medication and up-to-date on all vaccinations. The cottage is listed as a "guesthouse" which means it is behind another house. The cottage has separate parking plus shared yard space including a small fire pit. Applicants must pass a background check and credit check, application $40. Available as a 6mo or 12month lease. All utilities are included and it comes furnished! Electric, water, trash, internet, Netflix. No cable. Security deposit refundable with deduction of $150 cleaning fee after move out.
