Neighborhood Description The developement we live is is called the Oakhurst because the main road going through it is Oakhurst Road. All the homes have quite a bit of trees on their lots. When the developement was put in, it was the most expensive place to live. All the homes were built in the late 60's and early 70's. It is a quiet neighborhood without street lights. A nice place to take a walk any hour of the day and feel safe. Thei is an upscale shopping center less than 3 miles away. A major city less than 5 miles away. A major interstate less than 2 miles away. A very nice place to live.
