You may also catch a glimpse of non-game wildlife such as moose that are frequent visitors in the area. There are many other lakes, streams, and rivers nearby for fishing, including the Black River and Middle Branch of the Escanaba River. (Please note: this property is on Big Perch Lake which is approx. 20 minutes south of Ishpeming and 20 minutes east of Republic, directly north of Little Perch Lake. There is another Perch Lake just east of Republic.)
