Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located, award-winning Cooper Street Loft, one block to the heart of town, Wagner Park. Within 2 blocks are a dozen restaurants and in 3 blocks you could be sitting on the chairlift (Lift #1-A) heading up Aspen mountain for your first turns of the day. Walkability can't be beaten. Nevertheless, one reserved parking space is just steps outside your entry door. With a full kitchen, 2 TV's/roku/internet. Snuggle up! (A modern, gas fireplace insert will be installed winter '22-'23.)
The award-winning loft design is contemporary and spacious with 14-foot high ceilings. This comfy pied-a-terre was re-decorated in May 2022. As a fully-stocked turnkey unit, it allows you to tailor your vacation as you desire - walk to hiking trails, mountains, parks, attend cultural events, ski, wine & dine. Walk or take the free bus to the music tent, Aspen Institute, and other cultural facilities in summer, and to Aspen Highlands/X-Games/Snowmass Ski Areas in winter.
The main level has a new queen-sized luxury wall bed ("murphy bed"), with a hybrid foam mattress, and doubles as a large desk. There is a queen-sized plush conventional mattress in the loft (all linens provided).
NOTE: Since the sleeping loft has a non-standard ceiling height of appx. 4'8" (with double carpet padding), it may be best for children or agile adults. Accordingly, we offer the luxury Letomuro wall bed below which is preferred for some guests. The wall bed can be lifted daily to access the long desk (it has four hydraulic lifts for ease of operations) or it can remain lowered during an entire stay with plenty of room for clearance. Please keep this in mind when booking.
The living room area has a couch/sofa, two club/lounge chairs with coffee tables, and a dining table & chair set (seats 4). Views through picture windows from the living area towards the ski mountain.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all new stainless-steel appliances (smooth-top stove, full-size microwave, super-quiet dishwasher, and fridge with icemaker). Hi-speed wifi (Comcast) is provided with a large-screen flat TV (an additional TV is in the loft) and 2 Rokus. Three closet areas provide space for clothing and storing ski & sports gear and luggage. The full bath has a tub-shower combo with a toilet, separate from the sink/powder room area. Other amenities/features: stacking washer-dryer; deck with patio table and chairs; large secure bike rack outside the entry door. One reserved parking space. The Loft is ground level in a six-plex building, recently remodeled. All utilities are included: water, heat (City of Aspen electric), Comcast high-speed internet, and rubbish (regular trash, recycling & wildlife-proof secure containers outside).

RULES & REGS
Pets: Pet Friendly (1 pet allowed - provided they are quiet and not a nuisance). Pets outside must be on a leash. Guest must clean up after pets.
No loud music or noise; no large parties. Use wildlife-proof HOA authorized trash containers provided outside to protect wildlife.
Up to 3 guests only per booking (overnight visitors allowed); two queen-sized beds, always fully made up.
LGBTQ friendly.

NOTE: The unit was upgraded, updated, and redecorated May 2022 to include: LVP (luxury vinyl plank flooring), new paint, new furniture, stainless appliances, marble countertops, etc.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Across the street is a RFTA bus stop (a straight shot to the airport). Free RFTA to Aspen town, Airport/AABC (15 minutes: BRT/L/SM routes, every 30 minutes in season), Snowmass Village (25-minute ride), and 3 ski areas (Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk/Xgames site, and Snowmass Village/Big Burn).
DRIVING TO/FROM ASPEN
Directions/transport: 15-minute drive to Aspen/Pitkin Airport; 1 hr on Hwy-82 to Glenwood Springs (Amtrak/Bustang/Greyhound); 3-4 hrs to Denver/DIA Airport (DEN); 2:45 hrs west on I-70 to Grand Junction Airport (GJT). Independence pass / Hwy 82: open ONLY in summer (skilled drivers only).
