This house belonged to our Dad who unexpectedly passed away. He was a licensed general contractor, licensed Home Inspector and retired PE. He lived alone in this house for most of his years and was always doing projects on the house. The floors in the kitchen and baths have been completely redone including new sub flooring within the last 2 years. All new kitchen appliances. The roof is 5 years old. the driveway is 6 years old. When he bought the house his (then) wife was insistent on covering the beautiful oak hardwoods. there is beauty under the carpeting throughout the house. While his taste in decorating was hardly the best he took care to try and keep the home structurally sound. He installed an irrigation system for the front yard this spring so that he could seed with fescue this fall. Green grass was now his passion but sadly he did not live to see his dream come true. the back yard lot is huge and there's plenty of potential to add on to the house. The HVAC system is old but he had it serviced every 6 months from the day he got it and was very frugal in using anything but fresh air, so the monster may out live all of us! The fireplaace is equipped with gas logs (natural gas) but can easily be wood burning . The hot water is less than 3 years old. Last but not least, his neighbors are the best. They have a community within the community where they watch out for one another without being nosey :). We think the world of them.
