They are both now paying on a month to month basis & intend to continue renting. The owner pays the heat, trash, water & sewer. The tenants pay their own electric, cut their own grass, and shovel their own driveway/sidewalks. The 2nd-floor tenant has 2 finished rooms on the 3rd floor that have not been added to the sq footage because there is no heat in those rooms. The downstairs tenant has access to the basement from the inside. The 2nd-floor tenant has to go outside to get into the basement via the back door. Each tenant has his/her own washer & dryer. The 2nd-floor tenant's thermostat controls the heat in both units. Neither tenant has a pet.
