Ribbon Cliff won a gold medal for its Malbec wine and Silver for its Cab Franc.Ribbon Cliff Vineyard was named after a major rock slide as a result of the most intense earthquake to ever hit Washington State. The earthquake took place December 14th, 1872 and was rated at nearly 7.3 on the Richter Scale.Debris from the slide was reported to have blocked the flow of the Columbia River creating a lake behind a rock damn. Ribbon Cliff vineyard is located on the Columbia River halfway between Wenatchee and Lake Chelan near the town of Orondo. The hot temperatures along with the cool breezes off the river create a perfect climate for growing red grapes. We grow four varietals, Malbec, Cab Franc, Sangiovese and Barbara.We are located on 64 B VanWinkle Rd Orondo, WA 98843, just a few minutes away from the beautiful and historic Lake Chelan! Our vineyard is 11 acres of land with grapevines with a beautiful view of the Columbia River.From the owners:We have a tractor, two sprayers, mower, nets and tractor platform for installing nets that could be included. There is also a building that is used for storing them. We are not full time wine guys and just want to focus on our main business which is selling products on Amazon. We would be willing to let our label go with the vineyard and we just got into Amazon Prime Now. In a few weeks you can order our wine from Amazon and have it delivered to your house in 1 hour in the NW area that Prime Now covers. We are also in a handful of restaurants and bars in Bellevue, Kirkland and Seattle as well as two QFC's and Red Apple stores. We do not have a distributor for our business other than Amazon which makes it difficult for us.
