About the home: Room for rent in a cozy, sweet home surrounded by nature. 2 bedroom house with 1.5 baths, a spacious sunroom, and a wrap-around deck. There is a small back yard with a picnic table and a fenced area, and there are beautiful trails through the forest at the end of the street. In the basement there is plenty of storage space and a small workshop area. There are some steep stairs, so unfortunately this home may not be not ideal for folks with mobility issues. The room with the exercise bike is the bedroom that's open (will be empty or can have basic furniture). It has high ceilings and shelves that can be rearranged to suite your needs. I'm happy to help with room set up, and may split costs on furniture particular to the space or cover improvements when I can- just ask. Shared kitchen, full bathroom (there is also a half bath), and common spaces. Veg and herb garden in the yard. About me: Landscape Designer with a passion for nature and crafts. My work tends to be seasonal, so I may be home more in the winter than other times of the year. I have a small dog who is a little shy, but super sweet once she gets to know you. She is good with cats and lower energy dogs. Open to monthly or 3 month lease to start- happy to make this longer if it's a good fit! I'll do my best to make improvements as suggested and as I can afford them. May add an additional security deposit for pets.
