We've owned this 1920 brick bungalow since 2001. It was in pretty bad shape when we got it, but we've brought the house and the yard back to life with love, a lot of sweat equity, and gallons of paint! We replaced all the windows with high quality Pella vinyl double pane windows throughout the house. We insulated the attic with blow-in cellulose and put encapsulated fiberglass insulation between the floor joists in the basement. Today the house is comfortable, warm, and inviting. We've lived here full time since 2005.
This property also has a 4 room house that was originally a coal camp house with its own address, 305 W. Cedar. It was moved to town probably in the mid twentieth century. It was unoccupied and boarded up for 30 years before we bought it. We re-roofed it and stabilized the structure but haven't done any other improvements on it.
